It is fun to travel, and we have put on thousands of miles this summer. Usually we don't have car problems - except for high prices - on gasoline that is. . .
But this summer it has been one thing after another. First the air conditioning went out - in 92 degree temperatures. That happened shortly after we got started with our travels. That was the most expensive repair because it needed to be replaced. The next several repairs were not as bad. The battery had to be replaced. And I forget what else went wrong.
Today we are having the wheel bearing replaced. Did not expect more repairs - and expense. Hopefully, that will be the end of car repairs for awhile.
We have close to 200,000 miles on our Aurora - and bought it new in 1999 or 2000. Hope it will run for another 200,000 - at least!

So expensive - $150. per hour labor. Can hardly believe that - plus the parts - of course. It was almost $600. to fix today. [LOL] - But not so funny.
Wondering how hot it is for you. It has been nearly 100 degrees here at times in the past week.[HEART] The A/C is nice though.
