We have a blessed hope.
Because of our faith in Christ, Jesus dwells within our hearts. Two days ago there was an accident which took three lives of young people. They died a short ways from where we have friends and relatives living. It was a sudden accident, with no second chances. No time to call on the Lord - or anyone else! It was over. We feel very bad about it even though we did not know those who were killed.
In a moment this life can all be over - for any one of us! That is one reason why we must always be ready. Friend - if you should die tonight do you know where you would spend eternity? You can have your sins forgiven and have "new spiritual life." Remember what Jesus said to Nicodemus - we must all be born again. - New spiritual life is the result of repenting of our sins, and putting our faith in Jesus Christ, inviting Him to live in our hearts. ". . .It is Christ in you the hope of glory." (Please read Colossians 1:27, Romans, chapter 8, 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, and 2 Corinthians, chapter 13 in the Bible).
God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world not to condemn us, but to save those who repent of their sins and put their faith in Him. Jesus paid the debt for our sins - the wages of sin is death and Jesus tasted death for us at Calvary. On the third day He rose again. Do you believe that, friend? I hope so, because I would like to meet you in Heaven someday.
God commands that everyone repent. That is so we do not end up dying in our sins, and miss getting into Heaven. Do you have "new spiritual life"? If not - please take a few minutes now and pray to the Lord so you can have this new life and have your sins forgiven. If you do not know what to pray, I will add a prayer to help you:
"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God; please forgive my sins and come into my heart to live. I believe that You died to pay for my sins, and You rose again. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and power to live victoriously and to be a witness of Your love and mercy. Lead and guide me through this life. When my life is over, please take me into Heaven with You. Amen." Blessings from, Kathreen
