Beautiful Evening

September 13, 2006 / by kathyjoyful2day

It was so beautiful outside tonight that we took a short drive and had a malt at Culvers. 77 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Took some pictures and painted a few flowers after we got home.

What talent! Keep up the enjoyment of God's creation and your expression of it in art.

Thank you, Elliott. I am trying to learn a little in acrylics.
And if there is anything you like on my blog or website, as I have told others - just save it to your hard drive.
Thanks again for encouraging words. [SMILE]

What a beautiful painting! I dabble in watercolors, but hate doing backgrounds. Do you prefer watercolor, oils, or acrylics? [SMILE]

    Hello Medusa,
[SMILE] Thanks for stopping - and for your generous compliment. To answer your question,
I mostly do acrylics. Oils are wonderful but they take so long to dry.
[LOL] Watercolors can be pretty but haven't done much experimenting with them.
How long have you done watercolors?

Hi Kathreen from Skyeblue- I've been piddling around with watercolors for 10 years. For months now I've been stuck on painting nothing but magnolias. It's way past time I went on to something else! [SMILE][SMILE]
