Angels and Heaven

Last night I was looking at a website with Angel drawings on it. Nice drawings. But then I noticed that the author wrote something about trying to "work my way to Heaven." That was a surprise to read and I determined to contact her and let her know that she did not have to work to get to Heaven, because Jesus had already done the work necessary for each of us to get there. Unfortunately, I was too late to tell her, but hopefully someone else did so, because she has died.

Dear friend, if you do not know how to get to Heaven please do not let another day go by without finding the way. Jesus shed His Blood to make atonement for our sins on the Cross at Calvary. The wages of sin is death and Jesus tasted death for each of us. Then He arose on the third day.

It takes faith to receive what Jesus has done for us. Do you believe in Him? Have you confessed that,"Jesus is Lord" to others? God commands that everyone repent of their sins. That is because He does not want any of us to end up letting our sins take us into Hell. God is merciful and kind. He does not want anyone to miss out on going to Heaven when this life is over. Unfortunately many people do not give time to God and remain out of His Kingdom.

Do you know why we each need Jesus? it is not just for Eternity that we need Jesus. You can examine yourself to see if you are living in faith. (Please see 2 Corinthians 13:5).

It takes faith in Jesus Christ to attain "new spiritual life" from Him. You can examine yourself to see if you have Jesus living in your heart. Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ Jesus, do not belong to Him. But you can change all that. Put your faith in Him and invite Jesus into your heart. Jesus will wash your sins away with His redeeming Blood. It is Christ in you the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27).

It is important to feed your spirit by reading the Bible often. If you are new to the Word of God, the Bible, I recommend that you start reading in the New Testament. The Book of John, Colossians, 1 Corinthians, Romans, Chapters 8 and 10, are all good places to start. Nothing can compare to reading the Bible if you mix it with your faith. And it will not only help you now, but it will have Eternal benefits.

Ask God to lead you to the right Bible preaching Church. And get into a Bible study there to help you grow spiritually.
