On Sept. 22, 1991, a beautiful day of sunshine and comfortable temperatures, an estimated 250,000 people brought their blankets and sat on the Great Lawn in New York City's Central Park to hear Billy Graham preach the Gospel. The crowd was so large it was impossible to count how many people responded to the invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The following is adapted from Mr. Graham's message that day.

We were at Texas Stadium in October of 2002 at a Billy Graham Crusade. It was *AWESOME*. It was youth night. We went that night because of our son and we like the music and of course have always wanted to go hear him in person. We live here in the D/FW area so, it was nice to be able to go.

    Hi Jenn,
Sounds like it was fun for you and your family!

We too participated in one of the Billy Graham events some years back, I was in the choir and also a counselor.
That was a fun time for us also!

When he was in Thailand, Billy Graham converted my friend Susan. With her salary at $1 per day, she had to ask for leftover food from merchants. She put it into packets, which she gave to prisoners in tiger cages during her lunch hour. One of them, a Jew, converted to Protestantism and married her. This remarkable couple are now doing missionary work in Israel. Saints do exist even here!
